Yes, we are 2 kilometers off the main tar mac road. The dirt road is passable in saloon cars.
Yes we have a guest car park as well as parking spaces outside each room
Yes, taxis can come from Blantyre and they range in price from MK15,000-MK25,000 depending on where you travel from. You can also catch a mini bus taxi to our turn off (2km before Bvumbwe Police station) and then a motorbike taxi to the lodge.
We are 29km from Chileka International Airport (Blantyre) and 361km from Kamuzu International Airport (In Lilongwe, Central Region).

Activity Questions

We offer game drives, Guided walks, birdwatching, mountain bike rides, swimming, fishing, golf, BBQ’s/Braai and a children’s playground.

There are 10 main species in the park: zebra, giraffe, sable, eland, nyala, duiker, jackal, impala, waterbuck and wildebeest.

Whilst the animals are used to humans being around them we strongly advise that you keep a minimum distance of 15 meters between yourself and them.
Yes we have very friendly and knowledgeable guides. Speak to us if you would like a guide for your activity and we will make the arrangements.

Yes we do allow day visitors, we only charge an entry fee (of MK6,500 per person) if you do not have lunch or do an activity with us.

Lodge Questions

Check in is from 2pm-7pm, we can allow early check in and late check out dependant on other guests that may check into the room. Please enquire with our reservations team when making your booking.

Yes we have the Ambrosia Restaurant on site, it opens at 7am and we run breakfast from 7-10am, Lunch from 12-5pm and dinner from 6-8pm.
Yes we offer room service, available at the same times as our restaurant open times.

Our meals range from MK7,500 to MK30,000.

We have Luxury cottages, Standard Rooms (Nyala), Family Rooms (Sable) and self-catering guest houses.

We have a total of 28 rooms. 5 Luxury Cottages, 10 Standard rooms (Nyala), 10 family rooms (Sable) and 3 self-catering guest houses
We have a bar, swimming pool, picnic site, a dam (Lake Bvumbwe) for fishing and BBQ/Braai’s and a Sports bar.
Yes you can, we don’t have a minimum age range, however for the mountain bike ride and the guided walks no one under the age of 5 is allowed.

Yes we do. Please check with us if you have a large group and we will do what we can to accommodate.

Yes we do, we can host up to 500 people at our main venue., with two other venues also available to you. Please check out our Weddings page for more information.

We have 3 conference facilities available on site, Free WiFi, printing and team building facilities. Please check out our Conferencing page for more information.

Yes, we do. We offer a connection speed of 4mbps and give you 20 Gigabytes free per stay and also have vouchers you can purchase if you need to top up.

Yes we are on the ESCOM grid (Malawi’s Power generation company) and have a backup generator that can run everything but the hot water geysers.
